The UCSD Womxn’s Ultimate B team spent the past weekend in Santa Barbara playing at the Santa Barbara Qualifiers Tournament. On Saturday, Berserk went undefeated, playing a total of four A and B teams, and Berserk stayed competitive and spirited throughout the day. On Sunday, Berserk went 1-2, fighting hard for 6th place overall. Considering the level of play that the competition brought to the table, this was an impressive finish to a strong weekend. Additionally, Santa Barbara Quals allowed UCSD’s B team the chance to develop; the rookies improved exponentially and the team grew more cohesive over the course of the tournament. It was great seeing the team learn and grow, and a promising finish at their first tournament bodes well for the rest of Berserk’s season.
