This past weekend, UCSD Berserk competed in the Presidents' Day Qualifier tournament. They played 7 teams, and ended with a record of 3 wins and 4 loses. Two of those losses, however were only by 1 point. To that end, the team played very well against some tough competition and showcased their ability to work together and rise up to a challenge. They put together a great offense against some challenging zone defense and also threw a strong zone defense themselves. Despite the extreme LA heat on Saturday, the team stayed energetic and played hard through their exhaustion (luckily Sunday was cooler). All in all, the Berserk Coalition played well, developed new offensive and defensive strategies and ended the weekend in 7th place.
