While still in the early stages of finalizing rosters, our team was split into team X and team Y for our K-Fall tournament. Both teams worked hard and improved significantly over the course of the tournament. Each team's growth and intensity culminated in an energized, highly spirited, and yet competitive quarterfinals against each other. Each team traded points throughout this close game. UCSD X was barely able to score the winning point against UCSD Y in a double-game point, where whoever scored the next point wins the game. Team X continued on in its bracket and placed 3rd overall, while Team Y pushed through to place 7th. Regardless of the outcome of the tournament, both team’s cheered each other on and the day ended with big smiles and loud laughter.
