Women's Ultimate Scrimmage vs. San Diego Wildfire
On Tuesday November 5th, Women’s Ultimate scrimmaged hard against a nationals-level club women's team: San Diego Wildfire. Both rookies and returners stood shoulder to shoulder against some of the best players in the game, testing skills they've been building up since UCLA One-Day. Wildfire put up great hucks and played hard defense, giving our players a firsthand look at high-level ultimate play. Over the course of the scrimmage, our handler flow and cutter defense only got cleaner. By the end of the game, the Dragons were burning up in the end zone, and made some amazing plays to score against this competitive women's club team. Hopefully the experience Women’s Ultimate gained on Tuesday will transfer to the tournament this weekend, where they will be playing more amazing teams at our K-Fall Memorial Tournament.
