UCSD played a phenomenal game in their second match against USC this season. Despite missing a number of core players, the Tritons were able to secure a 7-0 win against the Trojans. As first years, Bella Inaba and Marissa Garcia stepped up and contributed greatly to the team's success, and UCSD's defensive line stood their ground against all shots on goal. UCSD's offensive strength allowed forward Sarah Martin to score two goals, and even led to a number of goals scored by the Tritons' midfielders, Alberto Montilla, Mina Balen, and Marissa Garcia. Securing their third win of the season on the road, the Tritons are now ready to take on Claremont Mckenna College in their next match.
