In the final game of the season, the Tritons fall to their rivals USD in a disappointing 3-0 loss. Within the first minute of the game, USD scored on a quick counter-attack from an unlucky turn over from UCSD; the Tritons responded well, keeping the ball and producing attacking opportunities. However, it was USD that got the next goal, poking the ball into the net after a series of bouncing balls in the box. The half finished 2-0, with the advantage in the hands of USD. The Tritons came out in the second half with a fighting spirit, still creating chances. The day was not in their favor, however, as multiple miss-calls towards UCSD plus another late goal for USD sealed the game tight. The Tritons finished the season with a loss, bringing their Spring League record to 4 wins and 2 losses.
