USC's race weekend was a fantastic time! We got a big rental house just a few minutes away from the race courses and had some great team bonding staying all together. Saturday's circuit race took place in a torrential downpour, but we managed to have fun and do well anyhow. We got 1st and 3rd place in the men's D, 2nd in women's C, 1st in men's C, and 1st in men's B! On Sunday we drove to the crit course early for the men's C/D combined race, and managed to sweep the entire D podium as well as getting 2nd place in the men's C category! Later in the morning, Zack got second place in the men's A/B combined crit. It was a tough race, with quite a bit of climbing, 8 turns, and an average speed over 25mph. Luckily it stayed dry for us!
