Tritons Topple SDSU II
In their second league game of the season, UCSD came out on top against the SDSU II side. The scoring started off with Kyle Vigil, assisted by Rohan Oprisko, within minutes of the whistle. Then, at the half-hour mark, Christian Gunther puts UCSD up by another goal, who was assisted by freshman Eduardo Ramirez. Within 10 minutes, Christian Gunther gives his side another goal with a beautiful chip over the goalkeeper, assisted by Collier Maruska. The Tritons ended the first half with a 3-0 advantage. The second half saw many more chances to come for USCD, but with no goals. An unlucky give away of the ball in the middle of the field gave a free counter-attack to the SDSU team, in which they unfortunately capitalized. The game finished 3-1 to UCSD, now 3rd place in league with 1 win and 1 loss.
