Against one of the strongest teams in the division, the short-manned Tritons team displayed remarkable force of will alongside fantastic goaltending by Nolan Karma. While outshot heavily, the game never became out of hand, as the Tritons scored almost immediately after falling down 2-0 in the second period. Dexter Hamilton put in a brief relief performance in net when Karma had an equipment malfunction, making 3 saves before the started returned to the net and continued his excellent performance. All things considered, it was an excellent team performance, and while the final score was not ideal, all involved came out with their heads held high.
