Tritons win in Exhibition Game

Late Saturday night, the Tritons squared off against the Mustangs in an exhibition game. Hanna Krohberger started the game with some exceptional passes to the forwards giving Alberto Montilla the opportunity to start the scoring seven-minutes into the game to make the score 1–0. The Tritons moved the ball well as Pranavsai Iddamsetty and Gorjeite Sweidan were able to connect on a series of passes, which led to Alison Washburn earning another goal for UCSD. With the half coming to a close, Alberto Montilla passed the ball to Arshdeep Singh who was able to beat two defenders and put away another goal before the half, leading to 3–0 lead at halftime. Luisa Ayala played some phenomenal defense and was a force in the back, while Mina Balen had an amazing game, passing the ball and setting up her teammates. Alberto Montilla scored two more goals, earning a hat-trick for the third straight game as the Tritons capped off a 5-0 victory against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
