3/13/26 - Triton Bested by CSUSM 

Despite the score and eventual loss, the Tritons put up a valiant effort against #2 ranked CSUSM. Thanks to an opening goal from junior Wesley Powell, the UCSD offense was clicking for the entire game. Junior midfielder Thomas Kenyon scored a team high 3 goals just two games after returning from injury. After a back and forth game, Junior attackman Jackson Edwards scored a goal early in the fourth quarter to give the Tritons a one goal lead. After two goals by CSUSM, senior Jacob Nget scored on a UCSD power play to level the score at 9 halfway through the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, a late push by CSUSM gave them the victory. The Tritons will look to change the tides in a likely rematch during SLC playoffs later this season.
