The Tritons took on UC opponent UC Santa Cruz and bested them 18-7 during a Saturday midday gametime. Freshman Sam Janik had a breakout game with 4 goals and an assist while fellow attackman Jackson Edwards added another 5. The UCSD offense was rolling all game thanks to an 8 goal first quarter. Senior defensive midfielder Natan Benvenieste also scored his first career goal during a late game fast break.
