On Saturday, February 28th, the UCSD Women's Club Soccer team faced off against Cal Poly SLO Women's Club Soccer in a matchup that showcased the high level of competition between the two teams. From the opening whistle, UCSD set the tone. Sharp passing, relentless pressure, and confident possession defined the first half as the Tritons controlled the pace of play. Their dominance paid off when Luana Veras delivered a stunning strike to the top left corner, a goal that excited the sidelines and reflected the team’s attacking intent.
