The Tritons competed in their first league tournament of the season over Valentine’s Day weekend, with both A and B teams playing four games each.

On Saturday, February 14, each team played three games. UCSD A team opened the day against SDSU B, securing a decisive victory with contributions from all 14 players on the roster, each scoring at least one goal. Their second matchup was against UC Irvine, highlighted by a strong defensive performance from goalie Story Waxman, who blocked eight goals, including a critical 5M shot. The final game of the day pitted the Tritons against Arizona State University, where Elizabeth Hernandez and Tania Frank each scored four goals, combining for over half of the team’s total in the match.

UCSD B team also had a busy Saturday with three challenging games. Their first matchup against ASU showcased excellent sprint performance, with the team converting all four sprints, led by Isabella Worley and Teaghan Kubota. In the second game against SDSU B, defensive efforts were strong, with Taylor Humphreys, Cam Bibeau, and Yasmine Kennedy each recording one field block. The final game of the day was a narrow 6–5 victory over the University of Arizona, featuring three goals from Cam Bibeau and three sprints won by Kay Pivonka.

Sunday, February 15, featured one game for each team. A team completed a perfect tournament by defeating the University of Arizona, with Emma Amakasu leading the team in assists with three. B team concluded their tournament with a competitive match against SDSU A. Goalie Emily Gevorgyan made eight critical saves, including one 5M block, while Teaghan Kubota led the team with four assists.
