11/8/25 - Women’s Volleyball CBVT Round 2 

We had six pairs compete this weekend in Huntington for our second round tournament of the year! There was great competition throughout the day, making each game an entertaining one. 

Playing in the 1st seed in the league pool, Claire and Haruna won their first two matches, losing the last one, in a tight game against SDSU. Facing the highest-ranking pairs of the tournament, these two did a great job holding their own, playing for the first time together. 

Hannah and Chloe played in the second seed slot. This was also their first time ever played together- they fought valiantly, and overall had just such a great time playing together. They ended their day with a 1-2 record. 

Jocylen and Ella played in the third pair slot, and although they had a rough start to the day, they ended it strongly, taking UCI to a third set, beating them 15-7 in that last match. 

In the open division league, our pairs consisted of Bauer and Levia, Jadyn and Anmei, and Ava and Gracie, all of whom made it to the gold division playoffs! Shout out to Bauer and Levia for making it into the semis! They had a long day of play, facing 7 matches throughout the day.
