11/21/25 - UCSD Showcases Offensive Strength in Win Over SDSU

UCSD started the scrimmage against SDSU with a strong offensive performance, scoring four goals in the first quarter. Matilda opened the game with a goal assisted by Emily L, followed by James scoring off a pass from Ally. Ally then added to the lead with a goal assisted by Gaurika, and Emily L closed out the quarter with another goal, this one assisted by Dillan. UCSD’s fast start set an early tone and established a commanding lead heading into the second quarter.

In the second quarter, UCSD maintained their momentum with a single but important goal from Lasya, assisted by Emily L. SDSU worked to adjust defensively, limiting UCSD’s opportunities, but UCSD still held firm control of the pace and continued applying pressure on both sides of the pool.

The third and fourth quarters saw UCSD continue to extend their lead confidently. James scored another goal in the third quarter, again off an assist from Emily L. The fourth quarter featured two more UCSD goals: one from Emily L assisted by James, and another unassisted goal by James. By the end of the scrimmage, UCSD demonstrated consistent teamwork, offensive execution, and strong ball movement, closing out a decisive and well-balanced performance.
