    10/31/25 - Halloween Invite 2025

The Tritons played at Miramar Community College this past Halloween 10/31 to have their A and B teams play 2 games each.

With players from each team helping the other UCSD team out, the Tritons had a fun 4 games with matchups against community colleges that aren’t as likely to happen in normal season play. The A team played Crafton Hills, in which they won 17-9, where 7 different players scored at least one goal. Their second game was against Miramar Community College in which almost the entire mixed roster was able to shoot the ball, tallying 20 shots on cage total. The B team played Crafton Hills as well, playing a great defensive game with 6 steals total, a fieldblock from Kira Sellers and 2 5-Meters blocked by Emily Gevorgyan. Lastly the B team also matched up against Mesa College, putting up a really good fight. Fun stats from the game include field players Kirin Sindhu and Emma Amakasu tallying up 9 blocks in cage!

Overall, it was a fun Halloween, where everyone got to show up in costume and the Tritons are looking forward to planning the hosting aspects of their annual Triton Invite coming up in late November.
