  2. Continue living the Good Life! Created (May 10)

    With our first Good Life festival being such a great success, Recreation, in collaboration with Health and the Well-Being cluster, have come together again to present to you the The Good Life Magazine! Previously known as LiveWell, the Good Life Magazine offers a variety of stories, articles, advice/tips, recipes, and many more for your fitness enjoyment!

  3. Summer Recreation! Created (May 10)

    Fun in the sun is just around the corner, as summertime is quickly approaching! It's the best time to get on a good workout routine and into shape before the new school year rolls around. So keep a lookout for the Summer magazine, as well as the new listing of classes and trips which will be available online on Friday, May 18th, and registration will begin on Tuesday, May 29th!

  4. The Good Life Festival Created (Apr 19)

     The Health, Recreation & Well-being cluster is hosting The Good Life Festival on May 3rd from 5-9pm in Matthews Quad and Towne Square. Join your fellow students for an exciting night full of activities, games, and something for everyone! We'll have activities you won't want to miss, such as human hamster balls in a pool and beer goggle cart races, plus tons of free stuff. Reply on facebook or check out more info

    If you've ever experienced Fitlife before, you know just how awesome they are in class-- try out a workshop instead! Featuring yoga, relaxation massage, and image awareness, these workshops will help you feel better and fitter in just a few short hours. Try one soon!

    Looking for a summer job that allows you to soak up the warm San Diego sun? Then apply to become a Instructor, Youth Camp Counselor, or Office Assistant at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center!   7. St. Patty's Day Pancake Breakfast Created (Mar 13)

    Come join UCSD's Masters Sports at their Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 17th as they reward themselves after their morning workouts at 9:00am! Enjoy a good Saturday morning workout AND deilcious food at the Canyonview Pool in Warren College. Don't forget to wear your GREEN to avoid getitng pinched on St. Patrick's Day!

  9. Beginning Ukelele Created (Feb 14)

    Learning an instrument can be hard - register for this Recreation workshop and give yourself a headstart! In two short hours (11a-1p on March 3rd), learn the basics of this zany instrument and start tiptoeing through the tulips. 

  10. DIY- Dining Room Chair Upholstery Created (Feb 14)

    In just one hour, learn how to take your dining room chairs from drab to fab! This do-it-yourself workshop is available February 29th from 5-6p. Register here

  14. Yoga Tune-up with Balls Updated (Jan 30)

    Saturday, February 4, 1-3pm. Using specialized Yoga Tune Up (R) Therapy balls we will self massage from head to  toe being sure to target and highlight common challenge areas such as the low back and IT band. This workshop is not only a great way to relieve stress but the techniques learned can help prevent injuries. For more info, click here.
