Commonly Asked Questions
Q: My child is new to gymnastics, in what level should he/she enroll?
For students new to gymnastics, age is the best predictor of level. However the gymnastics staff has the right to transfer your student into the proper level regardless of age.
Common Ages for beginning gymnastics classes:
18 months-3 years: Parent n'Tot
3-4 yrs old: Tiny Tot I
4-5 yrs old: Tiny Tot II
5-6 yrs old: Mini Level 1
6 and up: Level 1-level 3 and Boys Beginning/Int./Adv.
10-16 - Tumbling
Q: What should my child wear to class?
Please dress your child in comfortable clothes they can easily move in. No buckles or zippers. Bare feet only - no stockings or socks.
Q: Do I need to stay for my child's class?
We prefer that parents of Tiny Tot I and II students remain present. For students who need help using the restroom or those who are nervous without mom and dad, we ask that parents stay in our seating area for the duration of class.
Q: Where can I park?
Please see UCSD Parking for more information.
