SOM Trip

Welcome to UCSD School of Medicine Outdoor Experience!

Registration for the 2013 SOM Outdoor Experience is now open.

School of Medicine Outdoor Experience

We are thrilled to offer this program again just for students enrolled in UCSD's School of Medicine! We have planned the SOM Outdoor Experience to help you get to know each other BEFORE you begin your SOM Orientation.

The SOM Outdoor Experience is an informal orientation to medical school offered in partnership between UC San Diego Outback Adventures and the School of Medicine. In beautiful outdoor settings, students will form new relationships, meet other medical students and prepare for your upcoming years together.  SOM Outdoor Experience course starts right before the formal Medical School Orientation and is a fantastic way to gear up for your experience as a medical student. This will be a great opportunity to meet your classmates and have some fun!

Come spend August 22 to 24, 2013 with the SOM Outdoor Experience! Come prepared for a fun group experience! You will spend your first day at UCSD getting to know your new classmates and testing yourself at the UCSD Challenge Course.
