Welcome to the UCSD Challenge Course! The Course is open to student, faculty, community and corporate groups. The Challenge Course does not have general public use and is only open when a program is in operation. Programs can be scheduled 7 days a week, any time during daylight hours.

For more information please contact Ashley Hatchell the Challenge Course Coordinator at 858-822-3558 or challengecourse@ucsd.edu

Our Alpine Tower Challenge Course has both Low elements and High elements. Low elements are structures and activities on or close to the ground, high elements are generally built on utility poles or trees. Programs consist of carefully sequenced activities, customized to fit your group’s needs.

We offer customized programs designed to develop trust, communication, and personal growth through games, initiatives, and elements that are both physically and intellectually challenging. A challenge course is an ideal training tool for all manner of groups and each program is custom designed to meet the specific outcome desired by your group.

To book the course please fill out the Client Needs Assessment on the FORMS page. The more detail you include the better we will be able to design a program customized to your goals. Please include all contact information as well as date (mm/dd/yy) and time you are requesting the course. Please choose alternate dates and times as the course is not always available on your first choice. Within a few days of returning the Client Needs Assessment by email, you will be contacted by the Challenge Course Coordinator for a follow up information interview.

Program pricing can be found here.

For more information about programs, pricing and availability, please contact our Challenge Course Coordinator Ashley Hatchell at (858)822-3558.
