    Fit for Food Day!
    Join UC San Diego Recreation FitLife on Saturday, November 21 for the 6th annual Fit for Food Day, to benefit local families in need. We're dishing up a day of workout fun. Bring us 8 canned good items, or equivalent dry goods and enjoy your choice of fitness or yoga workouts. Register online for one of the following classes:

    #201380 Super Cycle 9-10 a.m.
    #201381 Kick Box 10:15-11:15 a.m.
    #201382 Pilates Core 11:30-12:30 p.m.
    #201383 Zumba 12:45-1:45 p.m.
    #201384 Hatha Yoga 2-3 p.m.

    TO REGISTER: go to the Recreation On-Line store and go to FitLife. The Fit for Food Day classes are under Fitness.

    If you can not make it to a class we will happily accept your donations in the bins at the RIMAC and Main Gym lobbies.

    TO REGISTER for a FitLife program, CLICK the 'ON-LINE STORE' button on the top right hand corner. LOG IN and click the FitLife tab on the left.

    FitLife is: Fitness classes, FitWell & Fitness a Go-Go, Mind-Body-Spirit classes, Wellness Classes, Private Programs and Walk UCSD

    FitWell Programs for UC San Diego Staff
    UCSD is committed to creating a positive and healthy work environment for its employees. FitWell was initiated by the UC Risk Services and co-sponsored by Environment, Health and Safety and Recreation. It is designed to be an "injury prevention" fitness program.

    FitWell is a FREE program intended to give UCSD staff the tools and incentives to work more effectively, reduce injuries and stress, increase stamina and create a healthy and fit lifestyle on and off the job.

    Personal Training
    Develop a training plan that best suits your needs with one of our outstanding Personal Trainers. They will guide you through your workouts, provide nutritional assessment, and help with goal setting all in a private instructional setting.

    Privates Session cost: $35/45/50
    Semi-Private (2 person group): $25/30/40 per person

    Private Pilates
    Pilates training is an elegant system of exercise that will tone, strengthen and streamline your entire body. Enjoy a private session with one of our experienced trainers to address your personal needs. Pilates is for everyone no matter your fitness level or ability. The Pilates center is located in the Main Gym.

    To schedule your session, call (858) 822-2313. Sessions are $40/hour.

    Private Massage
    Feeling stressed and sore? Has your training left you tight, stiff and unable to perform at your best? Indulge yourself and relax with a private massage with one of our certified therapists.

    Swedish Massage:
    1 hour, $40/45/55
    1 1/2 hours, $60/65/75

    Deep Tissue Massage:
    1 hour, $50/55/65

    Sports Massage:
    1 hour, $50/55/65

    Heated Stone Massage:
    75 minutes, $60/65/75

    Shiatsu Massage:
    1 hour, $60/65/75

    Fitness a Go-Go
    Fitness a Go-Go brings fitness, yoga and more to your door. If you have a special group of friends or co-workers and would like to have a custom class, we can help.

    FitLife provides a qualified instructor, you provide the appropriate facility. We can set up a one-time workshop of a series of classes. Some sample classes are: Core Conditioning, Pilates Sculpt, Hatha Yoga, Intro to Meditation Workshop, Relaxation Massage Workshop (1.5 hour minimum). The prices listed below are for each session.

    One time workshop: $50/hour (one-hour minimum)
    On-going class: $35/hour (one-hour minimum)

    Your group will experience enhanced fitness levels, reduced stress, improved productivity and better quality of personal and professional life.
