FitLife Occupational is a mobile physical activity and educational program. It has been proven to reduce injuries, illness and stress, increase stamina, and create a healthy and fit lifestyle on and off the job. The University of California sponsors the FitLife Occupational program as part of its commitment to creating a positive, healthy work environment and as part of the UC Living Well initiative. Here at UC San Diego it is supported by Environment, Health and Safety and Recreation.
NEW! FitLife Occupational offers five session workshops
*FitLife Occupational Workshops come to you!

The FitLife Occupational program recommends participants in your department complete the web based Computer Ergonomics Tier 1 Self Evaluation and Training eCourse on Blink, UC Learning Center (type "Computer Ergonomics Tier 1" in the search engine) prior to the workshop. Once the online ergonomic evaluation has been completed you are now qualified to participate in the Pain Relief Program at no cost to your department. The Pain Relief Program is an early intervention program that treats muscular-skeletal pain of all kinds in the body (neck, shoulders, wrist, back, knees, etc.). Please email ehsih@ucsd.edu to request the Pain Relief Qualification Worksheet. Partnership with Ergonomics and the Pain Relief program offers the campus community a more functional and biomechanical sound approach for all activities of daily living.
Attend two different workshops and receive a free Rec Card good for one quarter (a $95 value!). All workshop participants are placed into a quarterly drawing for a free FitLife class (that's up to an $82 value!).
