Have you ever wanted to teach group exercise? Learn the skills necessary to become a certified instructor. In partnership with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the UCSD Fitness Instructor Training Program will provide students with the information, education and practical experience needed to become a Group Fitness Instructor. Designed to be completed in two quarters, this program consists of 40 hours of training, 10 hours of supervised teaching and additional fitness training. Program Fees: $175/210/245 per quarter. Learn the skills to teach Mat Pilates!
FtiLife is proud to offer the Pilates Teacher Training Program-Pilates On The Mat, open to the campus community and beyond. This program is designed for those interested in deepening their understanding of Pilates, expanding their own personal practice, as well as exploring the career potential of instructing Pilates mat work. The program includes teaching methodology, philosophy, and practicum hours. Designed to be completed in three quarters, it is based upon a core curriculum of Pilates mat classes, monthly weekend workshops and supervised practicum. The program is dedicated to upholding the integrity of the Classical Pilates repertoire and high professional standards while maintaining the diversity of current schools of thought. Program fees:$190/230/270 per quarter.

Yoga Teacher Training Program
UC San Diego Recreation is proud to offer an extensive Yoga Teacher Training Program open to all and leading to a teacher training certification. This 200+ hour training is designed to be completed in eight consecutive quarters and is recognized by the Yoga Alliance. It is based on a core of asana classes, monthly weekend workshops and seminars, and supervised practicum. The workshops and seminars cover topics In addition we offer optional workshops to our trainees in Program Fees: $205/245/270 per quarter.
