Recreation General Fund

UC San Diego Recreation is part of the Division of Student Affairs and is committed to providing a broad scope of high quality dynamic recreational experiences that benefit students, staff, faculty, and the University community. Over 80% of the student population participates in recreation programs, activities, and services. Your support would foster student leadership opportunities, facility enhancements, and program development.

Canyonview Recreation Aquatic Center Fund

This fund will benefit the Canyonview Pool Complex, the Swim to Santa Barbara Program, and general pool facility improvements.

Intramurals Fund

Intramural Sports offers an inclusive competitive campus-wide team sports program for all skill levels. 85% of the intramural budget goes directly to student employees who work within the program. Donations will benefit student leadership training, expand student job opportunities, and increase the diversity of intramural sports offered to an ever-growing student population.

Masters Programs Fund

Funds will provide Masters Swimming, Running and Triathlon programs with additional coaching staff and unique training opportunities.

Outback Adventures Fund

Outback Adventures is comprised of five main program areas: Outings, Climbing Center, Challenge Course, Wilderness Orientation and Gear Shop. Each incorporates these outcomes; community, leadership, challenge and environmental awareness.

Gifts to the Outback Adventures Fund will support the overall program as needed.

Rec Classes Fund

Funds will support one of the three following designated areas:

General Program Support - This may include the opportunity for students to participate in Rec Classes at a reduced fee.
KnockAround Camp - Provide an opportunity for children/families to participate at a reduced fee.
Martial Arts - Provide an opportunity for students to participateat at a reduced fee.
